Mason's Birthday party
Mason wanted a superhero birthday for his 5th birthday. It was a lot of fun. i wished i had taken more photos. i made him a cake of New Orleans city with superheros battling it out. it turned out cool. Then i had super hero training for the little guys and they earned a cape and a water gun and received a certificate with their superhero name on it. Then some bad guys came and tried to steal things from the party to ruin the birthday party. My superheros ran after them and saved the day. (i had one of my friends older children come and pretend to be bad guys) and one of them got caught up in a tree. You see this 15 year old boy in a tree with ten little ones shooting him with water guns. too funny! But it was a great party! Here is his birthday cake:

Happy 5th Birthday Mason!!
He had such a good birthday yesterday and his party is still to come!!! We had a little party with just me, Scott, Mason and Mckenna. He has been wanting a lizard for who knows how long. He asked our nanny, Caroline, to buy one for his birthday and she said we will see. So yesterday Scott bought him one. and he was way excited. We also got him one of those glow in the dark sidewalk chalk. That was way cool. i tried to take a photo of it but the flash kept getting in the way, no matter what setting i had it on. Fun!

Mason Graduated from Preschool
I am so proud of my little guy. He had a graduation program and sang so well and performed in all the acts and even did a little dance solo. It was too cute and funny. They also did a tribute to the service men and sang "I'm Proud to be an American." That song already makes me cry but then to hear Mason singing it really made me cry. He laughs about it, but is on his way to Kindergarden. He is in year round school, so school starts for him on July 26.

My kids were born to live on a farm
With their love of chickens, cows, and horses, my kids were born to live on a farm. If Scott had his wish we would be living in Idaho near the Snake River on a huge plantation miles away from everyone. No Malls, no people, just livestock and plants. We went to the Sackett Family Reunion this weekend and they had horses their for the kids to ride. My kids loved it. McKenna went twice! I definately did not go on a ride. Too scarry for me. But they loved it. Its ok they will get another chance this weekend when the county fair gets here!

Christmas in July
My mom got the kids for Christmas this year a swing set. And the kids love it. After three days of putting it together. I am guessing three days total, but literally took a week, it is finally completed. The kids go on it every night and love to play in their fort. Thank you Yai Yai and Grandpa, we love it.
Welcome new member of the family!
Just kidding. Maggie had attacked one of Mason's chicken....Susan. We ended up getting him a new chicken. She is a bantam cochin. which in english means "miniature chicken" so no matter what Mason will always have a baby chicken. He is really excited about the new chickens. We bought two. One for Mason and he named his Dena. One for McKenna and she is calling hers Candy. Currently they are laying the tiniest little eggs, so cute. Cochin chickens are known for being pet chickens. So hopefully these little guys last for a while. The other chicken in this photo is one of the surviving rhode island red chicken and her name is Ruby.
